Coronavirus update

Gloucestershire County Council are closing Gloucestershire Archives @ the Heritage Hub from Monday 23 March until further notice, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Gloucestershire Family History Society @ the Heritage Hub has also closed their service until further notice. 

Gloucestershire Registration copy certificates service is also suspended.

Every effort will be made to continue offering essential services such as access to records for legal reasons.

Gloucestershire Police Archives 180th anniversary event

Join us for a celebration of 180 years of the police in Gloucestershire.

The event will be attended by the Chief Constable and a representative of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Children's activities include dressing up in police uniform, finger-printing, tasting prison gruel (if you dare!) and learning about how children were punished in times gone by.

Free to attend; free refreshments including festive biscuits and hot drinks.

 

The event takes place at the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub from 5.15-8.15pm on Tuesday 10 December. Please see our event page for more information.
