Coronavirus update

We’re pleased to welcome pre-booked researchers and volunteers.   Please see details of our new arrangements on our Covid recovery page.

You will need to book your documents in advance.

Gloucestershire Family History Society will re-open in September for pre-booked visits.

If you're not able to make it in, have a look at Gloucestershire Heritage Hub for ideas and links to help you #ExploreYourArchiveAtHome.

Gloucester Rugby Heritage - The Learning Zone

Gloucester Rugby Heritage Learning Zone provides rugby-themed teaching and learning activities for a variety of subjects. These are linked to the National Curriculum for Key Stages 2 and 3 and comprise lesson plans and supporting teaching resources. They are free to download.

We also work in partnership with Gloucester Rugby to provide tours to support this resource.  These include a chance to go round the Archives and discover how we look after original records, including documents/memorabilia about Gloucester Rugby, and a visit to the Club's Kingsholm Stadium to view the grounds, changing rooms and Gloucester Rugby Heritage displays.  The Archives and Kingsholm Stadium are within easy walking distance of each other.

Please contact us to arrange a visit.  Also, have a look at the risk assessment for a visit to the Archives which you can download from this page.
