What's Beneath Your Feet resource
A resource exploring the inclosure movement during the 1700s and 1800s
The resource focuses on inclosure, a movement that fundamentally changed how land was organised in the 18th and 19th centuries.
It was developed in partnership with Woolaston Primary School, Gloucestershire, and has been supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Friends of Gloucestershire ArchivesOpens new window.
"What's beneath your feet?" supports the Key Stage 2 History curriculum, in particular the local study topic as well as being cross-curricular, incorporating: Literacy, Numeracy, Geography, ICT, Drama, Citizenship and Art and Design.
