Gloucestershire has been an aviation county since the 1700s and today the industry still maintains a solid local footing. This presentation is a review of Gloucestershire’s aviation history and heritage through the documents held at Gloucestershire Archives. So, without any more delay, let’s go up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, whizzbang, twiddly dee, a quick scrap with the Hun, a jolly old crash landing and then back home in time for tea, the bar and medals.
